Nikoel, If your dogs are hanging around the garden, I doubt the deer will come by! I think we need a dog or two! And the bird houses are beautiful. Rick put them up and now I have to take more photos of them up in the trees!

I’m going to have to worry about that next year when I build my garden. So far I’ve only seen them in the back field. We do have dogs who pee all over in the front though so maybe that’s enough! I love the bird houses! They’re so great!

Ashland is pretty special! It’s a long full day drive, but worth a yearly visit. Oh, we love the deer–even if they get into the garden. I figure if she is smart enough to get in, then she deserved a good snack! But not all the time. All the babies have been born and so they are all out with the mamma deers and they are ever so cute! Can’t wait to see you in August. We love the birdhouses!
