Hi Fran and Rick –
Thank you for introducing me to Herb and his poetry. I look forward to reading more. Love the story about the “empty” chair.

On another subject, this month’s Smithsonian has an article about Maha Kumbh Mela called “What Urban Planners Can Learn from a Hindu Religious Festival.”

On the home front, Frank and I are headed out for a weekend of trail work at Sauk Mountain where the huckleberries are still ripe and we expect to see both bears and bear hunters. I’ll wear orange and pretend I’m in India.
