Hi Joann, I am so glad you will give your seeds a try! You might want to first wrap the seeds in a paper towel, moisten the towel (and seed), and let it sit indoors for 24 hours “soaking” up the moisture. You don’t want to drown the seed, just give it constant moisture. Then, after 24 hours, plant the seed and keep it moist. Mine took a little over a week to sprout, but it was pretty miraculous! Her husband could not get them to sprout and they are about 2 or 3 yrs I believe he said.. So I am going to try . We so miss them since both our parents passed away long time ago . I had to laugh cause my mom use to cook it all the time but of course we loved it .. lol.. Just hoping now that I can get these seeds to sprout . Your pictures here gave me a lot of hope for my seeds now ! Thanks . 🙂
