I loved the stories of the boys in Rome and Sicily. I would have loved to hear the young men serenade in Sicily. Jeanie is an amazing person, my godmother and shares a birthday closest to mine and I have always felt a close bond with her. I always wondered what things may have been like had she never been stricken with MS, but always impressed with her spirit that always fights the disease and the challenges it has presented. Jeanie’s beauty was the classic Greek/Sicilian one. She is tall for our family, around 5’7″ and she used to wear her hair long and naturally straight (no frizz like the rest of us!) And I will never forget how the young men in Rome and later in Grotte went wild just looking at her! Yeah, those serenades! But it is her spirit which is incredible! She is a gift to us all!

Kay, Jeanie has four loving sisters and two amazing sons (in addition to her two little granddaughters and fantastic in-laws) and she thrives on all the love around her! Her spirit is absolutely amazing! Her son John is a photographer and has the most amazing photos of her!
