But Catania is intimate, relaxed, and often surprising! The relics and displays are around every corner. There’s even a stretch of street strung with old churches for pedestrian access only. One church starts ringing its bells, then the other chime in with different pitches and rhythms. They actually start working up a little symphony of carillons. What fun those monks must have!
