Your blogs, Fran, are always amazing, but I especially liked this one because I learned a new shrub, Sarcacocca, that blooms and is fragrant in winter. I see them occasionally but never knew what they were. Google is so helpful. My knowledge of some other flowers that bloom in winter (witch hazel, sasanqua camellias, hellebores, and daphne) was limited, but daphne was the only one I knew that was fragrant. Thank you for the horticulture lesson. And, as always, your photos are stunning. Thanks. I miss you. Bev
