The line about the hero’s journey reminded me of a quote I saw posted in a classroom at the Middle School where I teach. I don’t remember the exact wording, but it talked about the times we try to be like someone else and when we do that, we never discover and celebrate our own gifts, the special and unique person we are. Looking forward to the New Year and all that it offers.
