This morning started with Yoga in the Park. I arrived early and was enveloped in fog. I set up my camera and took a selfie.

Little by little, my small group of four showed up and we had a magical yoga session. After yoga, Annette and I went over to the garden area of the park.

Brilliant dahlias and pearls of dew on spider webs:

Tomato plants and birdhouses:

Splashes of color added an exclamation point to one of the strangest years of my life. The fog diffused the light and made the colors so beautiful. I did not alter anything in these photos. The colors are just as I photographed them. Oh, and these were not taken with my Leica. They were all taken using my iPhone.

My favorite photo is the following. The lacy web pattern seems to be studded with  diamonds and strands of pearls. Makes one think of Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s Dissenting Collar. So beautiful!

A three-part study of dew drops on red poppies:

I love the how the backdrop to this dahlia looks bluish green, like the deep blue-green of  dinosaur kale.

The following dahlia had one petal folded under the tug of just one single thread of the spider’s web!  The color of this dahlia is like that of a sunrise.

Does one ever tire of looking at dahlias? I don’t think so. I hope you get to see some dahlias on your walk tomorrow.  Enjoy these autumn days!
