Go ahead and Be Italian for a week in Umbria this Fall, September 7-14!

live today as if it may become your last!

A moment ago, I found myself humming the “Be Italian” song as I fired up my computer, and so the title of this blog was born!

The strangest aspect about planning my yoga retreats is that I have to think about next Autumn when, in present time,  Spring has barely just arrived!  As it is pouring down rain and high winds whip the camellia blossoms right off their parent shrubs, my aim is to entice you to join me on the yoga retreat in Umbria next September.  When I think of retreating in Umbria, this is what comes to mind:  luminescence, sun rays, warmth, relaxation, basking in the warm spirit of the Italians, being taken care of, and body and soul  being fed by our in-house chef, Massimiliano Catizzone.  Then doing morning yoga on a flawless green lawn overlooking the sun rising over Lake Trasimeno against a backdrop of a villa so beautiful you almost opt not to go on the daily outings, just so you can stay behind and enjoy the exquisite beauty of the villa.  But, no!  You’d be missing out on the lovely outings I have planned for you!

Chef extraordinaire, Massimiliano, and Marilyn. Massimiliano prepares fresh and organic meals. Just when I thought he could not possibly outdo himself, he would, once again, outdo himself...for every meal. Plenty of vegetarian and non vegetarian options available.

Meet our chef Massimiliano, who creates one fabulous dish after another!. Just when I thought he could not possibly outdo himself, he did just that…for every meal. Vegetarian and non-vegetarian options available.

Some of my readers are not yogis, but you can still enjoy the photos below, which highlight the Umbrian outings.  For more information, you can visit my website  (see Retreats and Events, scroll down).
