Rick recently came back from Nepal where he went trekking in the Himalayas (the Annapurnas) with Don Bothell and Jack McHenry. I have done the same trek twice with Rick and, even though it is tough and ultra challenging, I would love to go again some day. There is nothing like being that close to the sky! For now, I travel to Nepal vicariously through Rick’s photos! Most of these photos are of landscapes, but a few others are simply delightful and had to be included (like the photo of the monkey family and the child chasing pigeons!).
Rick, it was such a treat for our whole group to enjoy the armchair travelogue through your slide-show and commentary. Very inspiring and impressive adventure…marykay

I know! Just looking at these, makes me feel I missed out on something great. However, this was not the time for me to go. Rick and Don came back with so many great stories. Jack is still not back yet, but is due back soon. Rick’s photos are stunningly beautiful! He really captured the top of the world.
