Yoga by Fran Gallo Studio Etiquette and Information
Welcome to your Green Lake Studio!
6869 Woodlawn Ave, NE, Suite 100 Seattle, WA 98115
- Please bring your yoga mat to class. All props are provided except yoga mats.
- Enter studio from the main doors of the building on Woodlawn. Studio is the first door on your left after you enter the building.
- Enter the studio 10 minutes before the start of class, not earlier than that time. This will allow Fran to clean between classes. If you arrive earlier than 10 minutes before class start time, you may wait outside the studio door in the hallway. Soft voices please when in the hallway. The Woodlawn Building is filled with wellness practitioners: psychotherapists, wellness coaches, massage therapists, acupuncturists, and naturopathic doctors.
- There is a shoe bench and coat rack to the right of the door, just as you enter the studio. Please remove shoes upon entry.
- If you use a bolster, please take a studio-provided hand towel to place over the bolster (for good hygiene). After class, you may place the used towel in the red laundry bag (to the left of the prop shelf). The bolster can go back up on the shelf.
- There are little red hearts on the studio floor indicating where to place your yoga mat. The purpose of these hearts is to distance as much as possible in the small studio space. Our boutique studio is small so class size limited to 6 people.
- Studio has a Blue Air Purifier, which purifies the studio air once every 4 minutes.
- This is not a HOT yoga studio so the temperatures are “normal”. This means the studio is adequately heated in the winter and comfortably cooled on hot summer days by the building’s AC. Participants may consider wearing layers for Restorative Yoga and Yin Yoga to stay warm and cozy.
End of In-studio Class Etiquette
- If you like, there are spray-bottled sanitizers and clean cloths for sanitizing your yoga mat. They are to the left of the prop shelf. You can place the used bar rag in the red laundry bag.
- Neatly place all props back on the shelf. Fran will launder blankets once a week on Thursday nights. If you have used a blanket which you feel needs cleaning before then, simply place it in the red laundry bag. If you feel that you’d rather bring your own blanket to class, please do so. Blankets are generally used for shavasana and for Restorative yoga.
- Leave promptly after you have put your props away. Fran will need time to clean before the start of the next class.
Registration & Cancellation
- Pre-registration is required for all classes, including all in-studio classes and workshops. Register at https://frangallo.com/class-schedule/
- Please do not come to class if not feeling well. Instead, go online to cancel your class reservation so others on the wait-list have a chance to take your spot. You may cancel up to 24 hours before the start of class.
- If you sign up for an in-studio class and do not show up, you will be charged for that class. There is a 24 hour cancellation policy in place.
- Please contact Fran via email or text if you need to cancel within 24 hours before the start of class. If someone on the wait list can make it to class, your reservation will be cancelled.
- We do have a wait-list set up. It is worth your while to sign up for the wait-list if you see that the class is full. Often there are cancellations and you have a good chance of getting into the class.
