We enjoyed our last full day in Sayulita with John and Jenna yesterday. Soon we will catch our flight to go back home where we will ring in the New Year with friends Barbara and Denise.
How fast 10 days goes by…Rick and I are left with John and Jenna’s smiles and memories of a sun-drenched relaxing week. Last night at dinner at a restaurant rooftop overlooking the town square, we talked about our favorite moments:
meeting jenna in person for the first time and being overwhelmed with happy tears…sitting down to eat grilled shrimp here at casa rio and seeing john and jenna fall in love with this special place…taking part in the poetry reading on the rooftop of Casa Poesia with L.A. and Martin…swimming laps in the pool…yoga on the palapa covered rooftop of our Casa Rio…the night at the tequilla bar watching the guys drink fancy tequilla and getting silly…watching john and rick cook together on christmas day…john being a prankster by ringing the doorbell and having rick fall for it and running over to the gate to answer to no one…eating grilled eggplant at our casa…sleeping in, sometimes getting 10 hours of sleep when none of us can afford the luxury of sleeping in back home…discovering the juice bar..watching children play on the beach…listening to the drummers and watching the dancers, jugglers, and fire dancers in the town square late last night
A Palette of Sun-Drenched Colors in this slideshow. Be sure to turn up the volume as it is set to music by local musician Leo who plays the percussion instrument, the hang…and watch on full screen:
