WiFi is a bit iffy here at the Karani Bhawan Hotel in Jodhpur. There is a hot spot and it is right here in the courtyard. Since I am ON, I will try to send photos and send blog text later.
Our day started with a beautiful yoga session on the lawn near the pool, followed by breakfast. Our tour today starts at 2 pm which means we have the morning and part of this afternoon free! Some have gone shopping as Jodhpur is a shoppers paradise! Others are resting and some are doing email and other correspondence. After blogging, I plan to jump into the pool!
Here are some photos I hope you will enjoy! We are having such a great time! I love the yoga sessions and love the fact that everyone shows up for yoga each and every time. Arvind is outdoing himself in being the best guide ever. Our tours have been fantastic!

Fabulous pictures, Fran!
Thanks for the photos Fran. It is so good to be reminded that there is a whole big beautiful world out there, and that gives some perspective to my small stresses and troubles (that seem so big sometimes). Thank you for broadening my awareness today; even through these photos I can feel the warmth of the sunlight there.
YES, so much beauty and warmth. Sometimes I feel moved to tears by the sheer beauty of being here. There is a raw intensity, a deep spirituality that seeps deep into your entire being.
lovely pictures, what kind of camera are you using?
Thanks, Herb! I use a Leica D-Lux. I love my camera, though it doesn’t have a great zoom on it. I was so frustrated at not being able to capture the antelopes, gazelles, and peacocks we saw yesterday in the wild while on the village safari. Overall, I am super happy with my camera! Fran
looks like you might be the topic of conversation among the Rajasthan women.
Glorious colors of Rajasthan! With the brilliant colors come the scents and smells!
