In reply to beth. Yes, she was a great artist. I'm glad you think her art was so good. I spoke to her art teacher, Ben. He said he couldn't believe how gifted she was. She'd color in coloring books and draw simple flowers, but give her a landscape to be inspired by and she'd go wild on the canvas and create something outrageously bold, unique, creative! She was one of a kind genius. I miss her so much! Yes, Toni-Trees. I am going to plant a tree for her in Seattle's arboretum.

that was a great photo essay – her art was so good. from my perspective, it was not naive or “outsider art” in any way. Toni knew what she was doing with color, form and brush. she was a great artist. I wish I had a Toni tree!

I think NBC’s DATELINE is a perfect program on tv for you to reach out to.
Especially since I read about the Seattke Times article about not helping intellectually disabled people from receiving proper care.
You would reach a HUGE audience!
