Hello from Tucson, Arizona! I came here to give a two-day workshop to a wonderful group of desert yogis, friends of my friend, Jane Wright. This is the second time I’ve come here to lead Jane and her friends in a delightful two-day yoga practice. More on the workshop on my next blog post. For now, I’d like to leave you with images of butterflies and desert flora. I took these photos at the Tucson Botanical Gardens today. What an amazing place!
Open your wings..let us see your intense shades of blue.

She’s a beauty!
How beautiful can a butterfly be? The interior of the butterfly exhibit was very humid and hot. Before leaving, a staff person checked our purses to make sure there were no hidden butterflies! Apparently, the butterflies sometimes fly into purses or bags. They are called “hitchhiker butterflies”. Our purses were clear of butterflies.
Look what I saw on the windowsill.
And Jane spotted this dart frog.

Hummingbird heaven. There were hummingbirds darting around when i took this photo, but all I captured were the flowers.
Ahhhh! Colors of the second and third chakra (pure joy and strength)

Wonderful photos, Frannie!
