We spent Thanksgiving weekend at Oceanside, Oregon. What a beautiful beach! And we were blessed with great weather. It was the perfect place to be meditative. As Rick and I were walking along the beach, we noticed natural formations in the sand that looked very much like tree sketchings. How many people had walked on this beach and not noticed Nature’s Art?
SMany of these images look like trees. And since trees are the lungs of the earth, seeing these natural art formations on the sand seemed very appropriate for these COVID-19 times and all who are suffering from COVID-19 and the life threatening respiratory attack of this virus.
And since my sister Toni is struggling with COVID-19, I dedicate this blog to her.
Let’s start looking and seeing art everywhere around us.
Let’s be sure to breathe!
Let’s stay healthy.
Let’s see trees as the lungs of the earth.
I’ve never seen this art work by Mother Nature before. It is so beautiful and hard to believe it was not done by hand. Thank you for sharing!
Still praying Toni Strong!
Beautiful, Fran! How are they formed? From the waves? Sending prayers for you and your sister🙏
Hi Kathy, Yes, they are formed by the waves. A gentle wave comes across the sand and then retreats back. There is a darker silt beneath the fine white sand which gets unearthed by the wave. Usually the designs are near a small stone or pebble. The water pools around the pebble and as it retreats, these incredible designs are naturally made. So cool!! And thank you for your prayers. Namaste, Fran
Beautiful images! And you are right, how many times have we not looked down to see these images!! I will not! Holding you and your family in prayer! XO ceci
Love the photos! What a beautiful place…the perfect getaway for some serenity.
I have never seen the lungs, heart, and vessels in the sand like that. So beautiful and so perfect.
Wow, Fran. Trees…even in the sand. Good eye and terrific photos. So glad you got to spend the weekend at the Oregon Coast. I hope it was somewhat relaxing. Sending love and healing.
