Valentine's Day at the Taj Mahal!

How perfect to have spent Valentine’s Day at the Taj Mahal, the monument Shah Jahan built as a mausoleum for his beloved wife, Mumtaz. Even though this was my third visit to the Taj, I was still just as moved as I was the first time I saw it. It is almost indescribably beautiful and flawless. I have put together a slideshow to show our experience there. We got up at the crack of dawn and arrived early, just as the morning fog was lifting. There are 20,000 visitors to the Taj daily, but when you arrive, you feel you are in the presence of greatness and the thousands of people seem to fall away as you admire this symbol of enduring love!
