House Boats on Lake Union

House Boats on Lake Union, Seattle

My life is still split between Ocean Shores and Seattle.  In Seattle, I teach yoga and am with my friends and I am so happy!  In Ocean Shores, I garden, read, cook, take in long yoga sessions, take long walks, breathe in fresh air, listen to the wind, watch the wildlife and observe the forces of nature around me, and I experience a peaceful solitude. Hopefully, these photos show you a little piece of my life today:

I picked these vegetables today at Ocean Shores! When I downloaded this photo, I was originally irked by the blue bucket, but it somehow seems to belong in this photo.

Hydrangea! Somehow, the deer managed to get into the inner garden when I was in Seattle. They hopped over the fence and found a garden of delights. How sweet...they left me a few hydrangeas to photograph!

"Aisha" hydrangea...each petal is cupped and holds water when it rains. I did a trade with a landscape artist. Each time I taught his daughter Italian, he gave me a plant. Aisha Hydrangea is one of them.
